Topology of Quantum Algorithms

SPEAKER: Iván Felipe Rodríguez
Thesis defense

ABSTRACT

Traditional brief introduction to the theory of quantum computation (CQ) is presented, considering the mathematical and physical prerequisites in Linear Algebra and Quantum Mechanics. Next, a brief introduction to high-level semantic is proposed to explain the CQ. Finally, as a main purpose of this work, the ratio for the traditional circuit-Jozsa Deutsh algorithms and Grover, and topological pair will be explained, using these semantics to demonstrate its correctness; with special emphasis on the benefits obtained from this new way of presenting.

ABSTRACT
This paper studies the link between Presidential and Senate to the economic performance of Colombian municipalities for the period 2002-2010. Municipal voting data with different economic variables and regional violence are used to show how the election results are associated with better performance regional, for that electoral concentration measures are constructed with variables of violence and municipal development that serve to show that the levels of violence and economic performance explain the election results elections for Senate and Presidency.
